# Chewtle (Japanese) #008 — sEK: Blastoise Starter Set VMAX

## Summary

Japan had this Chewtle in December 2020, about two months before the same Pokémon appeared in the English Shining Fates in February 2021. It came in the Blastoise Starter Set VMAX, a ready-to-play deck release, so the Japanese edition was the first way to own it. The art is a soft, watercolor-style scene of the little turtle tugging on a cattail among reeds, all in pale blues and greens. As a plain common it is bulk, but a charming bit of bulk. A $0.63 modelled guide with no copies traded in 30 days says bulk, and the economics stop there: no PSA population is on file.
