# Piers (Japanese) #173 — S4a: Shiny Star V

## Summary

Piers sits at the bottom of the rarity ladder in Shiny Star V, a plain Supporter in the set's non-shiny filler, so the Japanese version is a modest pull rather than a chase slot. That honesty suits the picture: the gym leader stands in a dim, purple-lit stage with a pink neon emblem behind him. Japan received this set in November 2020, after the same Piers had already come out in Darkness Ablaze. A $0.09 modelled guide with no copies traded in 30 days says bulk, and the economics stop there: no PSA population is on file.
