# Switch (Japanese) #p575596 — Expansion Pack

## Summary

Japanese collectors were playing Switch from October 1996, over two years before the English Base Set copy appeared in January 1999, so this Expansion Pack common counts among the earliest Pokémon Trainer cards ever printed. Two Poké Balls spin against a dark backdrop streaked with neon green and magenta, a small yellow Pokémon peering from one. As a bulk common it was built to be played, and that heavy use is why clean copies from the first Japanese run are the appeal here. A $0.63 modelled guide with no copies traded in 30 days says bulk, and the economics stop there: no PSA population is on file.
