# Mew (Japanese) #087 — Base Expansion Pack

## Summary

Mew curls up in mid-air against a soft pink glow, tail looping beneath it, with amber grasses and a purple wash behind in the yellow-bordered e-Card layout. This Japanese Mew from Base Expansion Pack arrived in December 2001, nearly nine months before Expedition Base Set carried the same card in English, and as a straight Rare it sits well below the set's chase slots, where fan affection for Mew does the work. The modelled guide sits at $100 with no copies traded in 30 days; no PSA population is on file.
