# Master Ball (Japanese) #061 — Base Expansion Pack

## Summary

Japan's e-Card era opened with a Japanese Master Ball that arrived in December 2001, nine months ahead of the English Expedition Base Set, so early Japanese copies carry a real head start in the card's history. The art is simple and effective: a glossy purple-and-white ball with its pink M on a deep blue field flecked with sparkles. An uncommon Trainer, it is a mid-tier pull, and the 1st Edition stamp is what sets copies apart. The modelled guide sits at $12, flat on asks over 7 days with no copies traded in 30 days; no PSA population is on file.
