# Hoppip (Japanese) #002 — Base Expansion Pack

## Summary

Japan's Base Expansion Pack, which reached shelves in December 2001, was the first e-Card era set, and this Japanese Hoppip came out nearly nine months before the English Expedition Base Set carried the same card. It sits at the common tier, so it works as a charming binder piece. Hoppip itself is a small red-pink puff with a purple mouth, drifting across a pale green grass field on a gold-bordered card. The modelled guide sits at $3.00, flat over 30 days on 1 copy traded, with 1,424 days of inventory sitting on the board; no PSA population is on file, and a CGC 10 would fetch about $54 against $45 in grading fees.
