# Malamar (乌贼王) (Chinese) #060 — CS5aC (勇魅群星 魅)

## Summary

Malamar's Chinese uncommon arrived in CS5aC with little fanfare, a mainland China release from June 2024 that gives the Kalos-born Psychic and Dark squid a regular slot rather than a chase one. The artwork is a loose, painterly marsh scene, with Malamar gliding past tall reeds in dusky purples and golds. Fans keep Malamar around for its upside-down, hypnotic charm, which does more for this card than its uncommon tier.
