# Edward.Newgate #OP17-005 — The World's Strongest Warriors

## Summary

Edward Newgate is a red ten-drop with 12000 power, but his discount against any opposing Character of 10000 power or more makes him far cheaper to land than printed, and his On Play lifts a monocolored Leader's base power to 8000. That suits Whitebeard decks built to trade up. The Super Rare from The World's Strongest Warriors, OP17, released in August 2026, shows the Emperor in a white coat and red-lined cape, staff in hand, against pale blue sea spray. The sold median sits at $1.08, down 31% over 30 days on 2,180 copies traded, with only 8 days of inventory on the board; no PSA population is on file.
