# Shanks #ST08-005 — ST-08: Starter Deck 8 Monkey.D.Luffy

## Summary

A Super Rare inside a starter deck is an unusual find, and that makes Shanks the chase slot of ST-08, Starter Deck 8 Monkey.D.Luffy, released in August 2023. The art has him grinning under a wide straw hat, one arm raised, with a pirate ship behind him under a blue sky. At nine cost the black Red-Haired Pirates finisher sweeps away cheap Characters, a big late-game swing. The modelled guide sits at $0.92, down 11% over 30 days on 26 copies traded, with 199 days of inventory on the board; no PSA population is on file.
